Tailored Recipe

A Tailored Recipe is a recipe which has been scaled by plan:one to meet your specific nutritional requirements. The Tailored Recipe includes the exact quantity of each ingredient to provide a single portion for you.

The Tailored Recipe is displayed in your meal builder and on your printed plan. However, you may find it more convenient to cook a larger quantity of the recipe, which you can store or serve to others. The Batch Recipe feature provides this facility and is outlined below.

Base Recipe

The Base Recipe refers to the original recipe within the “My Recipes” section of plan:one. “Base Recipe” appears below the Tailored Recipe ingredients in your meal builder. This opens the Base Recipe which can be altered. Any changes made to the Base Recipe will be applied to all menus which incorporate this recipe (for advanced users only).

Batch Recipe

The Batch Recipe feature allows you to scale up your Tailored Recipe to make a larger quantity, which you can store or serve to others. The Batch Recipe feature appears below the Tailored Recipe in the Item Details screen of your meal builder.

Type in the number of portions you wish to make and select “Printer Friendly” at the bottom of the screen to print the scaled up recipe. This does not alter your plan. When you return to your plan, the recipe will revert to the Tailored Recipe.
